I’m back!

Well, Hi! It’s been quite some time since I last wrote and over a year since I wrote properly whoops. I thought do a little update before I get to writing lots of stuff as I have so much planned and so much I’d love to share.

Firstly I’ve moved! My fiancé, Erin, and I have packed up our bags in Colchester and have moved to Leatherhead. Erin got a great job and it’s been so wonderful to get our own little home. We have a dreamy little flat far better than we could have ever have expected. It’s ground-floor which is perfect for me as I struggle to use stairs and can get out even on days I’m using my wheelchair, it’s two bedroom although we’ve used the second bedroom as a study which is great especially with Erin working from home at the moment, we have two bathrooms which is really helpful for when we have visitors and the main bathroom has a bath which I need, and we have a lovely lounge where we have a double sofa bed for guests. Although we haven’t yet unpacked everything it’s coming on nicely and we’re so excited to keep making it our own! We don’t have many pictures yet but I’ll share more as it comes along.

Now onto a little bit about me personally. As I’ve touched on before I suffer from quite severe mental illness and unfortunately the last year has been the worst it’s ever been. I spend a period in time in hospital which was beneficial and I’m hopefully starting intensive therapy soon. Although things aren’t excellent right now I’ve made rather a lot of progress which is nice. Now onto physical health, I’m not sure what I’ve shared before but I have a large range of illnesses and unfortunately a lot of new diagnoses have been added to the mix. I’m going to be sharing more about those as time goes on as I’ve had a few people ask for more information and posts on my diagnoses journeys.

Erin and I have made the decision to stay down here for Christmas as I am clinically vulnerable but we’re going to see family through video calls and hopefully catch up in person ASAP with lots of precautions in place. Erin has some time off from work so we’re going to focus on unpacking and having some lazy days watching all the Christmas films. It’s really exciting to decorate the flat up and it’ll be really special to be together over the holiday period. Although we don’t have much it’s really beautiful and it feels really special to be spending it together and with so much excitement for a much better 2021!
